Megan Ryder RVN
Head Nurse
Megan has worked at The Grove since 2000. Her main area of interest is infection control and she loves being a part of the senior team.

She has two children and enjoys spending time with her family, swimming, watching rugby and days at the beach.
Laura Ayteo RVN
Senior Nurse
Laura qualified in 2001 and stared working at The Grove in January 2007. In 2017 she achieved a feline friendly certificate and is a feline advocate for the practice. Laura enjoys spending quality time with her family and attends yoga classes. She has a cat named Lulu and has a small aviary of finches, budgies and canaries.
Georgie Chessmur RVN
Senior Nurse
Georgie has worked for at The Grove for over 20 years. She lives close to Swaffham with her family, Cocker Spaniel named Bertie and cats, Clive and Twinkle. She enjoys spending time with her family and friends and taking Bertie for long walks in the forest.
Sally Frostwick-Wilson RVN
Registered Veterinary Nurse

Sally started working at The Grove in Fakenham in 2006. She worked her way through the ranks from patient care assistant to a qualified veterinary nurse (RVN) in 2012! She recently some time out when her son was born and spent the past two years working twilight shifts at an OOH practice to fit in with childcare. Sally has now returned to the grove at our Dereham branch working day shifts.

She has an interest in ECC and Geriatric and small furries- owning two guinea pigs Olga da Polga and Gertrude and Doris the rabbit.

Heidi Clark RVN A1
Senior Nurse
Heidi has worked for The Grove for the last 12 years, and is now head of the pharmacy team at our Fakenham branch. She has a keen interest in nurse consultations and worked with Sophie to develop our puppy parties. She lives locally with her husband and children and enjoys family time and sewing.
Beth Dorward RVN
Senior Nurse
Beth qualified as a veterinary nurse in 1998 and after taking a year out in Australia joined The Grove where she became head nurse for several years. Since having her daughter, Beth works part time at the practice and is one of our senior nurses helping to organise clinical areas and the nursing team. Beth enjoys walking her Border Collie, Jim, and also now appreciates the joys of owning rabbits since her daughter acquired her bunnies, Poppy and Tommy.
Emma Williams RVN
Senior Nurse
Emma joined the practice in 2004. In 2016 after six years as head nurse she stood down to concentrate on her clinical work although she maintains a senior role within the nursing team. Her main areas of interest lie in medicine, anaesthesia and analgesia. She shares her life with her husband Chris and Penny the cat. Emma enjoys any exercise, MMA and live music.
Helen Green RVN
Senior Nurse
Helen has been working at The Grove since 2014 and been nursing for 11 years. She is the head of the consulting team and enjoys a variety of surgical and medical shifts. In her spare time Helen enjoys walking her dogs and riding her horses.

Day Nurses

Laura Smith RVN
Senior Nurse
Laura joined the team in 2016 and qualified later that year. She enjoys all aspects of her job with a particular interest in surgical nursing.

At home Laura has two cheeky Border Terriers, George and Martha, who enjoy exploring the countryside.
Jo Ward RVN
Senior Nurse
Jo began her nursing career in 2013 after completing an Animal Care Assistant course from home. In 2017 she qualified as a Registered Veterinary Nurse and after gaining further knowledge and experience, she went on to become a clinical coach for students. She has a keen interest in medical nursing and chose to complete a certificate in Emergency and Critical Care. In 2021 she moved with her family from Lincolnshire to Norfolk where she joined The Grove. She continues to enjoy teaching and will soon be trained as a Wellness Support person for her colleagues.

Outside of work Jo is busy with her 4 year old daughter, two dogs Pippa and Foxy and her cat Oscar.
Lydia Smith RVN
Registered Veterinary Nurse
Lydia is originally from Norfolk and recently moved back, starting at The Grove in 2020. She have previously worked at charity hospitals in London since qualifying as a veterinary nurse in 2016. Lydia enjoys all aspects of veterinary nursing, especially working with exotic species. In her spare time she loves to travel, especially to South East Asia to volunteer with wild animals.
Kerrie Allen RVN
Registered Veterinary Nurse
Kerrie originally started with us as a kennel assistant for several years. She qualified as a nurse in 2018. Kerrie has a keen interest in both medical and surgical nursing, in addition to physiotherapy and rehabilitation. She hopes to develop her skills in these areas in the future.

Outside of work she has a Jack Russell Terrier called Harvey Moon, a Labrador Cross called Phin and a rescued “naughty tortie” from the Grove called Phoebe. She enjoys kayaking, paddling boarding and renovating her recently acquired campervan to travel the UK.
Leah Attwood RVN
RVN & Behaviour Practitioner
After working as a Nurse for over a decade, I began to look at ways of developing my career further to include my interest in behaviour therapy. After gaining my diploma, I now have a dual role as a nurse & behaviour practitioner to provide a full and holistic approach to companion animal health, which now includes mental and emotional wellbeing for hospitalised patients and pets in the home.
India Bryant RVN
India joined in 2014 as a student veterinary nurse and qualified in 2016. She enjoys all aspects of nursing and recently joined the consulting nurse rota. Outside of work India enjoys going to the gym, walking her dogs, travelling the world and is a keen amateur photographer.
Sarah Fossey RVN
Sarah qualified as a veterinary nurse in 2010. She is originally from Norfolk and returned after living and working in Cornwall for the last five years. Sarah loves all aspects of nursing and in her spare time she enjoys exploring the countryside and beaches with her friends and family.
Fran Hancock-Rogers RVN
Fran had worked within the veterinary industry for 13 years before joining The Grove in 2008, shortly after qualifying. She has always had pets and currently has Hettie a Border Terrier cross, a cat called Melvin and two rabbits, Dexter and Dorothy. She enjoys family time, going on holiday to Cornwall and the odd glamping trip.
Claire Lowings RVN
Claire qualified in 2019 and joined The Grove Veterinary Hospital and Clinics shortly after. She enjoys all aspects of nursing and is keen to develop her surgical nursing skills. Outside of work she is a football fan watching Norwich City play as often as she can. She loves to walk her dog around the Norfolk coast and planning her next trip away.
Lucy Meadows RVN
Lucy joined the team in September 2018 having just qualified. Having come from an exotic practice she has a keen interest in small furries and rabbits. At home Lucy has two cats named Barnaby and Milly, a miniature dachshund called Walter and two tortoises, Ruby and Freda. She also enjoys yoga and netball outside of work.
Sophie Woodhouse RVN
Registered Veterinary Nurse
Sophie qualified in 2013 and started working at The Grove shortly after. She enjoys all aspects of veterinary nursing especially nurse clinics, which she helps run. She is also involved in the running of the social media page and started up the puppy parties with Heidi in 2014. She has a love for Border Collies and enjoys taking her Collie Mabel for beach walks. She also has three cats and four rabbits.
Victoria Hayter RVN
Victoria joined The Grove in Dereham in 2004. She enjoys all aspects of her job but has a keen interest in nurse clinics and client interaction. Outside of work Victoria has her hands full with her family and variety of pets, including a Cocker Spaniel, chickens, a cat and ponies.
Shannon Norris RVN
Shannon graduated in September 2017 with a degree in veterinary nursing and practice management from Harper Adams University in Shropshire. She has a particular interest in conducting nurse consults, especially weight clinics, and is looking forward to learning more about the orthopaedic work we undertake here at The Grove. Shannon's interests outside of work include photography and spending time with her family's dogs, Daisy and Choc.
Sophie Renno RVN
Sophie joined us here at The Grove in 2018 and has been nursing since 2010. She thoroughly enjoys medical nursing, and for three years she previously worked as a healthcare assistant within the NHS. Sophie has some pets of her own at home, including a Labrador, a cat and a chicken.
Anna Stevenson RVN
After completing her training at The Grove and gaining a degree in veterinary nursing at the Royal Veterinary College, Anna became a full time RVN at the practice in 2007. Her job has varied from day nurse to night nurse, but since starting a family in 2010 she works as a part time nurse and enjoys all aspect of nursing. Anna is married to Will who is a farm vet and is also a busy mum to three young boys, two dogs and two cats.
Stacey Scoffins
Student Veterinary Nurse
Stacey has completed her Level 3 Veterinary Support Assistant diploma, Animal Care Level 3 and Animal Psychology diploma.

Stacey has three cats, Tilly, Alfie and Delilah, and a mare called Elishia. She also keeps eighteen pet sheep of various breeds, from tiny Shetlands, to chunky Suffolks and Texels, cute Herdwicks and huge Zwartbles. She enjoys clicker training her animals and has an interest in positive reinforcement training. In her free time she enjoys spending time with her animals or has her head in textbooks studying!
Amy Walpole
Student Veterinary Nurse
Amy joined the team in 2016 after completing a qualification in animal management. She is now studying to become a veterinary nurse with us. Amy has a Golden Retriever called Alfie and enjoys taking him for long walks in the countryside.

Night Nurses

Fiona Boldero RVN
Fiona has worked at The Grove since 2002. She has a rescued Greek street dog called Lunar and a rescued Beetle (a black cat!). Fiona loves long walks with her dog, whether it is the North Norfolk coast or up in the Highlands. Fiona and Lunar are all weather walkers but when the sun shines they get out on the water kayaking, swimming or boating.
Kat Carr RVN
Kat is originally from the Isle of Wight but moved to Norfolk to start her veterinary nurse training. She qualified in 2012 when she began working at The Grove. She has three Spaniels and has particular interest in anaesthesia.
Becs Cole RVN
Becs has been working at The Grove for 10 years and has a keen interest in small furries and exotics. She has many pets including her newest addition Spencer, a Whippet puppy. She enjoys dog walks in the countryside and movie nights.
Faye Wickham RVN
Faye has worked for The Grove for the last seven years as part of the night nursing team. Her children consist of a Jack Russell Terrier called Mole, a corn snake called Chillie, and a Hermann tortoise called Harold. When she is not working she enjoys gardening, walking, playing squash and kayaking with family and friends.
Rebecca Musk RVN
Rebecca qualified from The College of Animal Welfare in 2018, gaining her RVN title. Rebecca enjoys all aspects of her job and is looking forward to learning more about small animal orthopaedics. Outside of work Rebecca enjoys spending time with her pets including a spaniel, cat and rabbit.
